Psalm 37:19 New Living Translation (NLT)
19 They will not be disgraced in hard times; even in famine they will have more than enough.
This scripture blessed me this morning. Often we are so consumed with the wrongs of the world that we can overlook what’s right.
Many of us are facing our version of hard times. We need problems solved, sickness healed, provisions made, and paths made clear. We are starving in one area or another. For example, when we are physically hungry our thoughts are consumed with food. We forget that we have clothes, shelter, and health we only concentrate on the one thing we don’t have. In times like these- keep this scripture close at hand.
When I begin to pray Gods word for provision, I am reminded that he is the God of more than enough. He is the God of increase. He is the God of addition. He wants the best for me and my children’s children.
We have to stop settling for just enough when we are promised so much more. Our cups are overflowing, our table of blessings prepared. We are lacking no good thing.
Change your focus, count your good, see all the wonderful things you do have.
The word declares even in hard times we will have MORE than ENOUGH.
